A French Country Friday Filled with Christmas Inspiration!
Believe it or not, I have started my holiday decorating this week! Trees are going up, and I’ve been pulling ornaments, wreaths, and garland out of the storage boxes. Every year, I run a frantic pace trying to get everything done and I always end up feeling like I don’t get to enjoy all of the special moments of the holidays. This year, I’m determined to get my decorating finished early so I can relax a bit and savor the season. My son is coming home for Christmas this year, and I’m so excited that he’ll be here.
The weather has turned cold here, and there’s even snow in the forecast! It’s definitely feeling like holiday weather!
My french loving friends and I are sharing lots of Christmas inspiration for this week’s edition of French Country Fridays! Enjoy!
Cheers, Cindy

Beautiful Christmas vignette! You know I love your taste in decor! Loved the chair you found on previous post. I would like to send you pictures of some of my finds? Sure wished you lived close to me….you are my kind of neighbor!
HaHa….having you as a neighbor would be wonderful, Nancy! I don’t think anyone in my neighborhood appreciates French furniture! Send your pictures to edithandevelyn@gmail.com
Hi Cindy
Love your home. You and your hubby have worked so hard to make it so beautiful. Your interior design skills are to be are to be applauded.
I do have to say though, us that have very small houses and less money than yourselves find it hard to emulate your ideas.
We do not have all the beautiful pieces you have at our disposal, nor afford to buy the bigger items.
Having said that I love following you.and enjoy watching you create your dream home.
All the best
Sally
Sally, many ideas can be incorporated into a smaller home, and most of our projects are done with a very tight budget. Hubby is retired so we have to budget carefully for each project. We shop estate sales, thrift stores, etc for many of our furniture projects, finding pieces that aren’t a large investment and updating them to our style.
