A Pretty French Chest Makeover
When I first saw this sweet French style chest at the estate sale, I was immediately smitten with it.
It was exactly what I had been looking for, with a slightly curved front, and hand painted details.
Upon inspection though, I realized that it was a reproduction, made out of some kind of strangely
molded wood. It was also painted a pale yellow which didn’t work with my colors.
But the price was really good, so I bought it anyway, hoping that I could make it over for a better fit in
our home.
New paint and furniture mouldings made all the difference!
This cute little French style chest now resides in our guest bedroom, and I couldn’t be happier with
the way she looks now.
Today is French Country Friday, and I’m sharing all of the makeover details! Just click on the link

Gould you not be able to do a tutorial on this blue chest, can you give me paint colors; I think you said you used 5 colors. Do you take off some paint from each layer? Please do a tutorial. It’s awesome!!!!
