Adding Touches of Spring to the Breakfast Room!
Believe it or not, I’m still figuring out where to put everything since our move to our temporary home. The only room that hasn’t been moved around a few times is the breakfast room.
Our breakfast room is a very small space off of the kitchen and it only has room for the farmhouse table and chairs, the French blue commode, and the French estanier cabinet.
It’s a tight fit, but it works for now!
Against the only wall in the breakfast room is the French Provincial blue commode.
Displayed on top of the commode is the French estanier cabinet, which I recently restyled for Spring.
It’s filled with French and English typography ironstone and whiteware, and it was overflowing.
I downsized the collection a little bit and listed some of the extra pieces in our online shop.
While I was cleaning and restyling the cabinet, I decided to add a few Spring touches with some luscious velvet carrots and strawberries from LoveFeast Shop.
The velvet carrots and strawberries are perfect for decorating for Spring, and their colors are absolutely gorgeous.
I originally placed them in the top of the Estanier cabinet and I loved seeing them against the whiteware and the walnut wood of the cabinet.
But after a few days, I decided to sprinkle them among the moss balls in the antique dough bowl that always sits in the middle of the farmhouse table.
I was completely smitten with this look!
The velvet of the carrots and strawberries is exquisite against the texture of the moss balls.
The details are nothing short of amazing!
The carrots come in beautiful colors of Persimmon, Apricot, Carrot and Salmon and they are topped with feather “stems”.
The delightful strawberries are covered in silk velvet with dupioni silk leaves, and accented with hand placed Swarovski crystal “seeds”.
Wouldn’t you just love a whole basket of them?!?
With Easter right around the corner, these would be perfect for decorating your Easter table!
Cheers, Cindy

The velvet fruits and veggies are gorgeous. I loved the ones I purchased from LoveFeastShop. Thank you for the share. Could you please tell me where you purchased your mood moss ball? The only ones I can find are 12″, 18″ and 21″ in diameter. The one in you dough bowl looks smalled.
I actually picked it up at a thrift store!
Lucky you!! I guess I need to get out more to the thrift stores. LOL
Beautiful as always! Where did you find the white urns that are on the table? I’ve been looking for something similar with no luck.
I’ve had the urns for years, and don’t remember where I originally purchased them! I wish I could be of more help!
Love the velvet veggies and fruits… I won’t look up how much, cuz they are probably pretty pricey.. BUT I do plan on looking up how to make my own!! Wish me luck !
Love your estanier cabinet…mine is not carved as pretty as yours! Those strawberries are really pretty! I like them best in your bowl with moss balls also. This house will help you decide what size house to buy for your furnishings.
