Recently, we did a little antique shopping in Pensacola, Florida and I thought you might enjoy following along on a virtual visit!
One of my favorite places to shop on the Gulf Coast is in Pensacola. It’s a great vintage and antique market called Oooodles Antiques! Pensacola is only about an hour drive from where we live, so it’s easy to visit often, and I believe that it’s one of the best places for antique shopping in that area.
I saw so many beautiful things including this gorgeous bust and cherub wall sconces. Of course, the antique crucifix drew my attention as well.
I could have easily filled my car to the brim! I’ve been buying and selling vintage and antique pieces in my online shop for almost 14 years, and I have a few places locally that are my favorites to visit. Oooodles Antiques is always on my list, and I try to visit on a regular basis to see what’s new.
I love Italian Florentine and I was so excited when I saw this set of Florentine nesting tables. I hurried to them, but was disappointed that they were the newer plastic version instead of the highly sought after wood, so unfortunately they didn’t come home with me.

Oooodles Antiques boasts over 12,000 sq. ft. of treasure hunting. You never know what you’re going to find there. They have some wonderful vendors that carry quality antiques, as well as jewelry, sterling, china, crystal, linens, and artwork.
There’s also an abundance of books, clocks, vintage clothing, furniture, and so much more!
I’m not really into mid century modern, however I know many people are. There’s several vendors at Oooodles that carry some amazing pieces of mid century modern.
I love this “big girl” dress form! Many years ago, I actually had one in this size, and ultimately ended up selling it. Part of me wishes that I still had it, even though I have no idea what I would do with it! However, it would make a great conversation piece!
Oooodles Antiques also has an outdoor garden area that offers outdoor furniture and accessories. In the garden area I saw this amazing bust that was made of solid cast iron. It had such a great look to it and was perfectly (or imperfectly) weathered.
I would definitely display this piece inside on a chest, buffet, or foyer table. What an amazing, one of a kind, look it would create!
It’s easy to find the perfect gift or an accent for your home at Oooodles! They also offer contemporary treasures and their vendors bring in new things quite often so their inventory is always changing.
This was a gorgeous French armoire with glass in the doors. I can just see it filled with beautiful ironstone or transferware.
I don’t know about you, but I adore finding these miniature Eiffel Towers. Most often these diminutive La Tour Eiffel were purchased as souvenirs in Paris. They are so much fun to collect in different sizes and display in a grouping!
Are you a lover of antique trophy cups? This silver-plate trophy was awarded to the winner in a beauty contest in 1935!
It would make the perfect vessel for a small flower arrangement, and would probably spark an interesting conversation!
If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know that I love vintage religious pieces, so this vendor always gets my attention.
Beautiful antique majolica, and grain sacks…….
Of course, this pair of cherubs grabbed my attention as soon as I walked in the door. Sadly, they were out of my budget.
I hope you enjoyed doing a little virtual antique shopping with me! And I know you’ve seen something that has caught your eye! If you’re close enough to visit Oooodles Antiques in Pensacola, FL, you will fall in love with their wide selection of vintage and antiques!
Cheers, Cindy
Indeed, lovely! Now that I’ve had a virtual shop – this looks like an ideal stop for an in person visit someday!
Hey Cindy-
That was great fun! This summer I’ve felt very fortunate to have found and purchased four (4) cabinets/armoire’s that all came from France and are all dated in the 1800’s from my favorite antique shop Woodson Antiques in Raymore, Missouri. Please do some more virtual shopping with us because it just makes for a great time to follow along with you. It also makes you really appreciate every single antique that we own (big or small) and where it came from within the family or from across the pond or another country. They just don’t make things anymore that will last over 200 years with that lovely patina and carvings etc.. We must try to preserve as much history as possible and living with these lovely things is adding to its own personal story! All my best, Cheryl
What a wonderful comment, Cheryl! Thank you!
I loved shopping, virtual style with you. I have decorated my whole apartment with these styles, french provincial, especially and love your etsy store. So inspiring. I purchased trophy cups in Florida….now I’m going to look for them. I moved and downsized and am trying to figure out where all my treasures are packed, lol!!! I’m starting an etsy store and am using yours as a perfect guide to help me display my items. Your etsy site is fabulous!!! Thanks.
You need to make a trip back and go to Rosie’s Antique Emporium. A couple doors down and just reopened after suffering storm damaged a few months back. Great people and great selection of all kinds of stuff.
Thank you for sharing. I’m heading to Pensacola for a family reunion next week and now I have something else to put on my itinerary.
You should also check out Flip Flops on Palafox in Pensacola while you’re in town! They always have such great finds as well!
Thank you I will!
What a fabulous place! I thought a lot of their prices were very reasonable. I definitely would shop there if I was in the area.
I’m in North Fl, but still quite a ways to Pensacola. If I’m ever that way I’d love to visit Oooodles. Let us know what you took home with you!❤️
