A few weeks ago, I stained the caning on the bed in our master bedroom, which then led to doing a bedroom refresh with some new bedding.
For a long while, I have been wanting to add a feminine, gathered, linen bedspread to our bed, but I never could find one that worked.
But, recently, while shopping the Annie Selke Autumn 2016 catalog, I found exactly what I had been looking for, so I ordered it and anxiously waited for it to arrive, keeping my fingers crossed that it would fit our deep king size mattress.
When it arrived, I wasn’t disappointed, because it fits perfectly!
It may be the first time that I’ve had bedding that actually fits all the way around the bed.
The Pine Cone Hill Wilton bedding by Annie Selke is beautifully gathered in cotton and linen, and it dresses our king size bed perfectly with a 30″ drop, draping all the way to the floor.
Annie Selke is passionate about style, comfort, and quality, and it certainly shows in this beautiful bedding.
I was really impressed by the quality, and attention to detail, and I’m not easily impressed!
The fabric has a wonderful thickness, giving the cotton/linen texture such a luxurious, heirloom quality feel. 
I use a lot of vintage textiles in my decorating, including antique European grain sacks and hemp linens. This bedding blends and compliments them perfectly.
While I was shopping the Annie Selke catalog, I also ordered a lovely Pine Cone Hill Candlewick throw that I am totally obsessed with!
It’s the most amazing shade of blue, and the stitching reminds me of vintage chenille.
There are matching Candlewick pillows that I didn’t order, but now, after seeing the throw, I think I’m going to have to order them as well!
Of course, after I added the new bedding, I moved a few things around, moving the french loveseat to the end of the bed, and the french chairs and antique baskets to the front of the windows.
It will be nice to curl up on the loveseat, under the Candlewick throw, and read a good book….or just snuggle with a cute pup!

Hi Cindy, I’m just subscribing to your site. I love your spread, I just received one and I’m disappointed that it doesn’t reach the floor, short about 3 inches on all sides. Do you have any suggestions or do I have to just bite the bullet??
Hi Sharon! Is it the Annie Selke Wilton bedspread? I’m surprised it’s too short. We have an oversize king size bed, and I can never find anything that fits all the way around properly, but the Annie Selke bedspread fits perfectly, and drops all the way to the floor, all the way around. Perhaps you can measure the mattress and the drop to the floor on your bed, and exchange, maybe order the next size up?

I love all the bedding but the other things are lovely. I couldn’t get all the twitter buttons to work. I did them all but for some reason they didn’t work.

Ok I entered in every way I possibly could LOL! What a gorgeous website they have! It was really hard to think of just five things I want but here is what I narrowed it down to:
1- that same candlewick mineral throw because it looks just like the vintage chenille one my grandmother had that my aunt inherited and I always loved it and I wished it was mine. So GORGEOUS and nostalgic!
2- The Anka White throw
3- Any of those gorgeous pajamas!

I also viewed this on their online website & wanted it. My only problem is that in the winter we have a down comforter & the sides hang over. I would have to totally remove that each day to put the spread on. We live in Texas in this real small 1895 Victorian & our bedroom is small. But, I really may have to remove the comforter each day because I really want this linen spread. So pretty!
Deborah, we have a down comforter underneath the spread! At night, I just fold the bedspread to the bottom of the bed, and then in the morning, spread it back over the down comforter. The bedspread still fits perfectly!
