I’ve been working on this corner of the living r

I’ve been working on this corner of the living room today, hanging one of my favorite pieces, a salvaged church station of the cross. I found it many years ago in a sweet little shop in Springfield, MO. It’s made of plaster and it’s a bit shabby and chippy with the center completely missing.
It makes quite a statement piece, especially if you love antique religious artifacts like I do!

Hubby made a backing for it and I covered it in turquoise velvet, and I’m working on filling it with my Sacred Heart collection.

The turquoise velvet French chair came from a local estate sale and it’s the perfect match!

It’s still very chilly here today, so Hubby has a pot of chili on the stove and we’re getting ready to watch the National Championship game this evening! Roll Tide!
