Welcome to French Country Fridays!
I’m writing this post from my hotel room in Mobile, Alabama where I’m staying for the next couple of days while I attend my favorite monthly estate sale! You know it’s a great estate sale when you are willing to travel eleven hours to attend! I’ve been attending this monthly estate sale for years and it remains my number one preferred place to go antiquing. Hubby and I will be up before daylight, and in line at 5:30 a.m. Even though the doors won’t open until 8:00 a.m., it’s worth it to be one of the first through the doors, and hopefully get to those treasured finds before anyone else does! While I’m picking through lots of fabulous vintage and antique pieces, I hope you will enjoy this week’s edition of French Country Fridays! This week, my six francophile friends and I are sharing lots of French Country inspiration, so grab your favorite beverage, get comfortable, and enjoy! And wish me luck on my treasure hunt!

I attend this particular monthly estate sale every month. They post a lot of pictures on Facebook of some of the things that you will find there, so you can get a pretty good idea from the photos!
You drive 11 hours! I live in Mobile and haven’t been since they moved. Ok, you’ve inspired me, although I will not be in that 5:30 am line! Thanks for the beautiful photos you post.
This months’s sale is a good one, Anne! I like being the first one through the door!
