It’s French Country Friday!
We’ve just returned from six days in Miami, Florida and the weather was glorious! It was beautiful and sunny with a slight breeze every day. I did not want to come home to our freezing rain and snowy weather! We have another winter storm moving in this weekend, and I’m not sure Spring is anywhere in sight!
Today, for French Country Friday, I’m sharing our master bedroom dressed for Spring. Even though it’s freezing outside, there are pretty Spring colors inside! My French loving friends are sharing their beautiful inspirational spaces as well, so please take some time to visit their homes and enjoy!!
Cheers, Cindy

Hi Cindy
Thank you for the lovely website. I have been trying to make a small apartment French.
How can i start with a tiny apartment kitchen. very little counter tops and walls.
Hi Lindsay! If you have a very small space with little wall space, it might be perfect to add the new “peel and stick” wallpaper in a beautiful Frenchy pattern to the walls that you do have available. If you’re renting, it’s such an easy way to add some flair and it won’t ruin the walls….when you move, it removes very easily. I would also add a few country french accessories, such as French bread board, maybe a piece of ironstone, and definitely a small vase of fresh flowers. Because it is a small space, keep clutter off of the countertops, and be “frugal” with your accessories. If you have a table and chairs, add a ruffled slipcover in a neutral fabric (drop cloths work great for this) to the chair seats. Take it one step at a time, and you’ll be amazed at the transformation by adding just a few small elements! I hope this helps!
Love your home and your creativity….would you please share the source for Laurel wreaths on the bedside table….Love them….Thank you
Hi Dee! I actually found both of the metal laurel wreaths at antique markets. I get asked about them so often, I’m trying to find a source for them, which I will be glad to share with you if I find it!
Thank you so much…..I’m hoping you find a source ……Dee
Hi Cindy. It is really great french bedroom and kitchen ideas. Everything looks perfect and beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
