Welcome to French Country Fridays where we’re showing you all kinds of holiday decorating ideas!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and ate lots of turkey!
We are so deep into packing boxes for moving that there wasn’t any cooking and baking going on around here! We went to a local restaurant that was serving a fabulous Thanksgiving buffet and it was delicious. Though I missed not having the leftovers, it was nice to not have any of the clean up! We came home, watched a little bit of football, took a nap, and then it was back to packing boxes.
Moving has inspired me to purge, clean out, donate, throw away, and sell a lot of things. It’s very freeing to get rid of stuff! We’ll be downsizing so it will be fun to shop for new treasures to decorate a new space.
And now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to let the holiday decorating begin!
Enjoy this week’s edition of French Country Friday!

Hi Myrna! We are moving to Fairhope, AL to be closer to our children.
Glad you had a good THANKSGIVING meal without cooking. Packing to move is hard work…..I’ve only moved twice in 47yrs. but that was enough. I sure would like to be on your donating list…..lol. You have pretty stuff in this home!! Looking forward to your next house decorating.
Thank you, Nancy!
