Laundry Room Update and French Country Friday
Several days ago, I realized that I hadn’t shown you our simple laundry room update, so here’s a little sneak peek.
It always amazes me at the power of paint to transform a room.
In the laundry room makeover, we added board and batten to the walls to give it more architectural detail.
We also added crown moulding, and then everything got painted!
Here’s the before picture:
And here is the newly updated laundry room!
Quite the change, don’t you think?!?
I will show more pictures and details in a later post because today is Friday!
French Country Friday, that is!
Five French loving blog friends and I share our French inspiration on Fridays, and today is filled with lots of beauty!
Enjoy!

Happy Friday Cindy,
I love your transformation! It’s open, airy, light, and simply sophisticated. Great job!
Love, love love. Your laundry room is beautiful. Looking forward to details.
Such a lovely transformation. This is so beautiful and serene. I especially love the little display spot with the miniature dress form. The floor is gorgeous, wall color perfect. Everything is just so soft and calming.
I’m hoping to convert our children’s former bath to a laundry/ sanctuary bathroom soon. We have the washer, but no dryer yet. It will be so much nicer than having to lug laundry baskets down two flights of stairs to the dreary basement laundry area.
Your room makeover is exactly the elegant look I’m hoping for.
