If someone had told me five years ago that our home would be featured in a magazine, I would have probably laughed. It wasn’t something that I had even dreamed about, but sometimes God opens doors for you that you didn’t even know that you wanted opened. We’ve been blessed to be in several magazines over the last couple of years, with three new features out for this holiday season. I thought I would share those with you today!
The November issue of Romantic Homes features our home dressed for the Christmas season!

The writer that interviewed me for this feature may have had a little confusion between my name and the name of my blog…..most of the captions on the pictures quote Evelyn……
…….but that’s ok….I’m sure Evelyn {my sweet mother in law} is up in heaven tickled pink that she’s been featured in Romantic Homes!
Miss RubyLou is so excited to be featured in this issue! She’s such a little camera ham! Every time I get the camera out now, she runs and sits in front of me. I think I may have created a little monster!
This issue is on newsstands now, so be sure and pick up a copy! It’s filled with page after page of holiday inspiration!
Our second magazine feature this month is in the gorgeous Australian magazine, Provincial Living, based in Melbourne, Australia. Provincial Living is all about France and anything French inspired, featuring travel, lifestyle, and culture articles.
They have a five page Belle Brocante feature in each publication and I was so honored that they wanted to feature Edith & Evelyn!
The third magazine feature is an upcoming holiday feature in the gorgeous Italian magazine Vivere Country.
I received the pdf version of the feature and I was so surprised that we received 21 pages! It’s written in Italian, so maybe some of my sweet Italian friends can translate!
It’s always a thrill to see your home in a printed publication!
The editors of both the Australian and Italian magazines are supposed to be shipping me print copies of the magazines, and it will be nice to see the actual printed version.
I’ve been on “pumpkin overload” with all of the Fall posts, so it was fun seeing these holiday features.

On a personal note: We are almost finished with the renovation of our formal living room! I’ve almost completed painting the walls and hubby is currently laying the floor. Once that is finished, we will install the baseboard trim. I’ll try and do a little update as soon as I finish painting that last wall!!

Thank you, Pat! Honestly, the magazines have always contacted me. I believe they have always found me through the blog. Once in awhile, I am asked if there is a home I can recommend to be featured, and I will be glad to pass along your information the next time I’m asked!
