The Most Wonderful Time of The Year!
We’re down to the final days of the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is literally days away! Are you ready? I have a few more things to pick up, as well as stocking stuffers, and then I will be finished.
This is the first year that I’ve not put up a tree or decorated for the holidays and it feels so strange and foreign to me. We’re still unpacking boxes and trying to arrange furniture, so the idea of trying to put up a Christmas tree, and decorate in the middle of all of this, was just more than I wanted to think about! And in the middle of all of the chaos, I decided to re-paint our French cane bed! I’ll share more on that later. After the holidays I will be sharing more of our home and how I’m decorating. It’s definitely been a challenge!
So many of you have asked about Miss RubyLou and how she is settling into our new home. She is very curious and has loved exploring every nook and cranny of the house and the back yard. She has also made friends with a very large Boxer that lives behind us! They will stand at the adjoining fence with their noses pressed together every morning. RubyLou has also loved meeting our neighbors and introducing herself! She is adapting to the new home well, and even though she doesn’t let hubby and I get out of her eyesight yet, she seems to be enjoying living in South Alabama, especially the milder weather!
We’ll be traveling to Miami to spend the entire week of Christmas with my son and fiance, and we’re so excited and looking forward to this special time with them. I want to wish each and every one of you a wonderful, and blessed Christmas! You have blessed my life beyond measure!
Cheers, Cindy
