Velvet Hearts and a Giveaway!
Love is in the air! Can you feel it? Every February 14th, Valentine’s Day rolls around and we find ourselves caught up in the excitement of candy, flowers, cards, and hearts of red, white, and shades of pink.
There are some gorgeous velvet hearts that have made an appearance in our home lately, and I wanted to share these beauties with you!
From the purveyors of the iconic velvet pumpkins, LoveFeast Shop, are these breathtaking velvet hearts with gold crown caps. I’m blown away by, not only the beauty, but the quality as well. They are perfect for presenting to a special loved one on Valentine’s Day.
A beautiful ruffled linen throw, also from LoveFeast Shop, drapes the top of the old farm table in our breakfast room.
Sitting on top is one of our antique dough bowls filled with greenery, dried hydrangeas, and moss balls. Nestled in the center are a trio of these gorgeous velvet hearts in shades of pink.
As I was placing the velvet hearts in the dough bowl, I started thinking about all of my Valentines.
If you’re like me, you may have several Valentines…..a spouse, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, neighbors, or friends.
Those loved ones that hold a special place in your heart….they can all be your Valentine.
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than present that special someone with one of these gorgeous velvet hearts!
The 14ct gold plated crown on top is the crowning glory. The best part? The crown on the large heart is removable, revealing an opening that’s perfect for tucking a special note inside…..or maybe….a small piece of jewelry.
Just like the velvet pumpkins, the velvet hearts will become a treasured piece to whomever they’re given, especially with a little surprise tucked inside the crown!
After Valentine’s Day has come and gone? This velvet heart will still make a beautiful, cherished piece to display throughout the year, tucked into a vignette, gracing a bookshelf, or sitting prettily on a bed.
LoveFeast Shop is offering our readers free shipping with any order of their divine velvet hearts. All you have to do is use the promo code EEHEARTS at checkout (valid through 01/31/19).
I would also love to giveaway one of these exquisite velvet hearts to one lucky reader! It’s very easy to enter! All you have to do is leave me a comment and tell me Who is Your Valentine?
The giveaway will end at midnight on Friday 01/25/19, and we will pick a winner by random drawing. Please be sure your email is attached to your comment so we can get in touch with you!
UPDATE: The giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to our winner Mildred Hoppe!!
Good Luck!
Cheers, Cindy
My husband, dog, and my sweet and beautiful Mom that passed away!
My Valentine’s this year are my deceased parents. Decorating my mantel this year with Valentine’s my father mailed my mother along with the satin pillow covers while serving in the Army during WWII. I also have my mother’s Valentines’s from grade school 1930’s on the mantel and decorative basket. To think my mother saved these treasures all these years…I just had to display them to honour both of them.
My valentine this year is my sweet 91 years young father who is still active and enjoying life!!
My hubby will always be my special Valentine. Love these sacred hearts!
My valentine is my sister ,Cathey…She has been my kindred spirit since we were little girls. We are now in our 60’s. I love to surprise her from to time with a small gift…This heart would be a very special surprise….

My valentine is my 91 year old father who resides in a Memory Care unit close to my brother in Birmingham, Al. He used to give me a valentine box of candy each year as a child with a doll on the top. Sadly my doll collection was lost in one of our 19 military moves. He knows me and says my name. Sadly all women either have my name or my late mother’s name. Doctor calls it automatic speech. How sweet is that???

My favorite valentine is my sweet daughter who is spending the year in Brazil as an exchange student. When February 1 rolls around, we have a tradition to leaving each other little valentines or love treats in a cute little metal blue mailbox on the stairs. We do this until Valentine’s Day. This year, she’s gone exploring the world and learning about herself, but I would love to have a heart to put on her bed when she returns. Her mama loves her so much! Thanks.

Ohhh, I loved these hearts. My Valentine is my husband of 28 years, but I also have many more to add to the list much like most people. We are hoping for an engagement in the family this year so I must show this to my son! What a sweet way for him to ask his sweet Emily to be his bride.
These are gorgeous! My husband of 16 years would be my Valentine. But I’d also have to say that perhaps the greatest Valentine of all time and for every one would be Jesus!
Of all those I deeply cherish, my husband and soulmate is my true Valentine.
Hi Cindy,
I was so excited about the velvet hearts that I forgot to leave my valentines. I have 7 beautiful grandchildren who are my velvet hearts! ❤️
Good morning! My special valentine is my husband of nearly 48 years. Of course, without him, my other list of valentines wouldn’t be here, my two sons and my grandchildren. We were 18 and 20 when we married and we never looked back. There have been years when all we could afford was a small foil wrapped chocolate and others where he surprised me with a piece of jewelry, but the best gift of all has been the steadfastness between us all these years. The velvet pillows are beautiful and are a reminder that the best valentines are long lasting, won’t wilt or fade and will be around long after the taste of chocolate has melted away.
These are gorgeous! LOVE decorating for every holiday! These would be beautiful to declare God’s love is with us every day in every way! He is the King of all! Have a Blessed day! From Louisiana!
My sweet mom, very sick in the hospital, is my valentine this year. One of these beautiful hearts would brighten her room and remind her she is loved.
