A Velvet Pumpkin Harvest!
Our favorite time of the year has arrived, and with that comes our velvet pumpkin harvest!
There is something about each and every one of the four seasons that I adore, but I have to say that Autumn has always been my favorite.
I love the weather turning cooler and seeing the trees take on their colorful foliage. There’s so much to savor about the Fall season….cozy sweaters, football, evenings by the fire, warm pumpkin bread fresh from the oven, and caramel apples.
Every year, I look forward to pulling out these exquisite velvet pumpkins that I’ve collected over the years. They are the perfect decorating accessory that works year after year, and with any decorating style.
The velvet pumpkins are such an easy way to add touches of Fall decor that are easy and elegant.
I adore my pumpkins from LoveFeast Shop! It’s so easy to display them in every room and in so many different ways.
One single pumpkin can make such a statement, or you can place mounds of them for a big impact.
As I was pulling the velvet pumpkins from storage, I placed them on the curved staircase in our foyer, and I love the way the look all piled together as though they have just been harvested!
Of course, Miss RubyLou was mesmerized with their beauty, but I quickly realized that they couldn’t stay there.
She was just too curious to leave them alone, so I pulled several different styles, some with feather embellishments, others with Swarovski crystals, and placed them throughout the house.
The lush velvet pumpkins from LoveFeast Shop are so unique and collectible. LoveFeast Shop also carries more than just velvet pumpkins! They also offer beautiful gifts for every occasion, and gorgeous bedding and linens such as this Chichi Linen Throw.
Velvet pumpkins can be an investment, but I’ve found that if you add a few to your collection every year, it won’t be long until you have a large variety to decorate with!
Cheers, Cindy
Fall is a wonderful time of year. I love to open my windows and let in all of the fresh air. The colors are changing and I think of the great colors that will appear. I have already started gathering pumpkins and love your velvet ones in so many colors, they are beautiful to decorate with.
Fall is an awesome time of year for me. I find it to be the best time to enjoy nature’s artwork. The vivid colors of the fall-blooming flowers, the berries and fruits, and above all, the gorgeous colors of the leaves amaze me every year.
Autumn has definitely become my favorite time of year. I love when the leaves begin to change colors and time seems to slow down. Lighting the first fall scented candle of the season is so invigorating then add a splash of autumn color like rust, orange, or burgundy and suddenly my spirit starts to spark as well. I love sitting outside enjoying the warmth of the fire pit sipping a cup of homemade hot chocolate.
Harvest has started here on the farm and my sons are busy working 15 hour days. I love the cooler weather and gorgeous colors of Fall and watching the farm equipment rolling across the fields !
Autumn is my favorite season so there isn’t anything about it I don’t like! Finally, some decent sleeping weather! The fall colors are my favorite and I love the changing leaf colors and the textures of things going to seed, ready to winter over and prepare for next spring. I retired from a state to which many people retire just to get back to a part of the country that has four seasons. And fall is the best.
Autumn has definitely become my favorite time of year. I love lighting that first fall scented candle and adding a few plaid colored throws to the furniture. Time just seems to slow down as the temperatures start to cool. Nothing better than sitting around the firepit on a crisp October evening with a blanket and a steamy cup of homemade hot chocolate. The sky seems clearer and the stars seem brighter. What’s not to love about fall?
Hi Cindy
Just love seeing your beautiful velvet pumpkins and how you use them to decorate your home.
Autumn in Charleston is brief but a beautiful change. What I notice more is the crispness in the air and how clean and vivid all the colors are. No haze and humidity.
Happy Fall!!
I love seeing all the velvet pumpkins!
Wow! I love your collection of beautiful velvet and feathered pumpkins rolling down your staircase.
I love the cooler crisp weather change and long walks in the autumn season. Thank you for the opportunity
Of winning my very own lovely pumpkins.
I love the opportunity to switch the decor up in my house to reflect the season. Decorating with pumpkins and fall colors is always fun too!
I love the weather getting cooler and NC has the most beautiful leaf color change! Plus all the yummy pumpkin dishes, Fall is the best season of the year!
Fall is the end of a very long and hot summer for us. It feels like a reprieve!
I love autumn, it’s my favorite season and I just love everything about it. However today I am really loving those velvet pumpkins. I typically decorate with primitive antique furniture but I can see these just spicing it up a bit. Thank you for sharing.
I love everything about fall!!… October is my birth month, and I celebrate All.Month.Long. Festivals, pumpkin patches, decorating pumpkins, and more than anything just driving and walking and enjoying the Appalachian scenery. <3
My favorite thing about autumn is all things warm. Sweaters, blankets, scarves, heat on again, tea, and fleece sheets… Here in Seattle, anyway..
What do I love about autumn? Better said, what don’t I love about autumn? Not to mention, what don’t I love about velvet? Velvet brings back memories of my Mom making a red velvet Christmas dress trimmed in white faux mutton fur around the color and cuffs! Well it was the most beautiful thing I ever saw! That is why I am in love with velvet — so when I saw these pumpkins I just started swooning! Love them!! Love this blog too!
Fall is my favorite season. I’m drawn to the warm earthy colors, and I love the heavier fabrics. It’s been so hot here in Tennessee I can’t wait for some brisk air!
I love Autumn because it shows how amazingly beautiful change can be. The colors are warm and inviting…….. it’s my favorite season!! And your velvet pumpkins are just beautiful!!!!!
Hi Cindy, What I love about Autumn…I love breathing the clean, crisp air; enjoying the changing colors and the crunching leaves underfoot while walking out to the barn; cooking s’mores fireside in the evening; sitting on the porch and watching the geese gathering on the lake before they fly south for the winter; and the cozy feel of the LoveFeast Shop pumpkins on the coffee table while curling up on the sofa with a cup of hot cocoa. Thanks for the gift of your inspiration and the giveaway.
Fall is my favorite time of year…I love the vibrant colors of the trees, football and cooler weather!!!
I love the fall colors and the coolin air!
There is definitely something special about fall. It’s the smell in the air, crisp mornings, plaid wool scarves, bulky wool sweaters, boots, boots, boots, sitting on the front porch under a soft blanket, hot cider, bonfires and PUMPKINS!. What’s not to love!
I love how everything in the garden is grown in and full, and kind of messy. Then the leaves turn and start to fall. Thank you for the giveaway.
Hi Cindy, let me start by saying that your pumpkins are beautiful! All the rich colors and texture are to die for! And you displayed them beautifully on your stairs. I love Fall as well. I love all Fall elements and colors like pumpkins, squash, acorns, pinecones, heirloom pumpkins and the gorgeous colors of the leaves changing is my favorite part of the season. I love cooler temperatures and morning dew. There is so much to love about the season. If I won the price I think I would spend it all on velvet pumkins! I have never had one but I would love to decorate my home using them. Thank you!
Denise
I love the rich, warm colors of fall as well as the glorious scents of the fall season including pumpkins and apples. Fall is such a cozy time of the year.
I love the cooler weather, sit on patio with throw and pumpkin spice latte. Yummy!
These velvet pumpkins are absolutely and I love them! They would look amazing on my mantle! Fingers and toes crossed!
I love pumpkin picking and getting to wear boots again!!! Also apple cider donuts are always amazing!!! Thanks for the chance to win a fabulous prize
Hi Cindy, I love decorating the house for autumn with pumpkins faux and real, especially the white baby boos! Inspired by you, I am using moss balls for the first time this year and absolutely love them. They are a little expensive, but they will transition well into the Christmas and winter decor. Are you able to use yours more than one year?
Thank for including me in the drawing for the pumpkin giveaway!
Warm regards,
Christina
Christina, I use moss balls in my decorating all year long. They are a staple piece!
My house is very compatible with all the colors of fall . I would love to add to my fall decor.
Living in Florida, I appreciate the cooler temps as well as an annual trip to Atlanta in October.
I adore fall, all the fabulous color, the sound of leaves crunching as you walk and seeing the coziness of Lamp lights on through the window. The wonderful smells of pumpkin, Carmel and vanilla and oh those incredible unusual never one of a kind pumpkins. Happy Fall Y,all
I love the cooler weather and the warmer tones coming back into the decor. Your pumpkins are gorgeous.
My favorite part of fall is the fresh crops of apples, apple cider and apple butter!
The best part of fall is persimmons and the beautiful red and yellow leaves everywhere!!
I like Fall because it’s finally cooler! And I love the colorful leaves and pumpkins — and just about everything!

I love Fall because it represents a reward and a reset. (I think the New Year’s Day is for personal plans and goals.) But Fall is new beginning to me. A reward first for surviving a winter and a summer and then a reset time. The colors deepen and run riot thru the city and countryside. Colors intensify, temps cool and that is a spark to my brain. These things allow my brain to clear and focus and enjoy at the same time. For me, this is when I really focus on home because of the upcoming holidays. (New Years for me is where I focus on my health and body.) I make plans for my home until next Fall.
Autumn is a wonderful time to enjoy the days of falling leaves. Having the porch decorated for harvets and later on October adding the Halloween witches. In my home I place swags and lights…to the tables my collection of pumpkins. Your velvet pumpkins i could see so many way to blend with my decorations.
Autumn is a marvelous time of year and I love the crisp air and hearing the crows caw. It brings back childhood memories.
The gentleness of Fall is my favorite part.
Rose bushes and asters putting on their final show of color before they rest and sleep thru winter – so pretty – I smile.
The pumpkin colors are amazing.
I love Autumn because 1) Orange is my favorite color and it’s everywhere (!!) and 2) October is my birthday month! Thanks for the giveaway…
Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. I got married in October, and now my daughter married in October also. I look forward to all the holidays that are spent with loved ones.
Cindy,
I love the cooler temperatures in October. We still have bright blue skies with lots of sunshine, but the temperatures are perfect… 70s to low 80s and low humidity. Perfect weather to sit on the porch to read.
Judith
Love, love, love the velvet pumpkins on the stairs!! Too bad Ruby Lou is so curious. You find perfect places to display them. This is my third year to enter. Last year we had to say our favorite colors. I love them all. Can’t wait. Pam L
I love the cooler weather, so I can go on long nature walks and feel comfortable.
I like the crisp autumn air.
I’m a huge fan of pumpkins! For eating, drinking and decorating. My favorite thing about fall is cooler weather and being able to wear cute jackets and sweaters again.
HI Cindy, This my first time seeing the velvet pumpkins a d now I want a few. Fall is my favorite because living in New Hampshire the trees are turning their beautiful shades of colors, the crisp mornings, seeing our favorite pumpkin farmer bringing in all the pumpkins so that we can go look at and find our perfect ones. White pumpkins ,the traditional orange as well as some of the newer ones, warm apple cider donuts, knowing that it is almost time for the honeycrisp apples and most of all seeing our grandchildren playing their favorite fall sports soccer and basketball, that last summer cookout and evening reading a good book curled up in blanket. Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of velvet pumpkins and the chance to win a few.
Because I live in Georgia, I have to be patient, but I love the cool crisp weather that makes wearing a sweater a necessity!
There isn’t anything I DON’T love about Fall, but oh my goodness, those velvet pumpkins…..I’m in love!!!!!
Fall is my favorite season and it has been since I was a little girl. I now have 2 young boys and they love fall too because that’s when I make my first big pot of chili. At the first sign of cooler weather. I also bring out the hot chocolate!
Yes Fall!
The time of year that calls for the flicker of campfires, lazy days in the warm sun rays with yet a crisp air…slow down…enjoy the smells of fall leaves and the beauty of nature on fire!
Being from the Southwest, i love the cooler weather that autumn brings. The change in the weather definitely sends my mind into overload thinking about all the various holidays that are just around the corner. Halloween is one of my favorites and the velvet pumpkins shown on your post are so beautiful and would be a unique way to bring spooky magic into my home.
You make everything beautiful!! I’m in love with these pumpkins! Since it doesn’t get cool here for quite a while, my favorite thing about fall isThanksgiving and SEC football!! Let’s just say “GEAUX TIGERS”
I love the leaves during the fall! Great giveaway, thanks for a chance at winning!!
My favorite thing about Fall on Florida’s coast is planting flowers! This is our season to start putting in annuals. I just filled our window boxes with purples and fuchsias.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to win these beautiful pumpkins. Living in South Florida, we do not get season changes:(. So adding pumpkins, fall leaves, and brewing apple cider helps bring in the season. The purple set of pumpkins is so gorgeous.
Love how those pumpkins spill down your staircase. What a beautiful collection you have. I try to buy one a year. My favorite things about fall are the cool mornings, hot chocolate in the evenings and the slower pace. It makes me want to nest and do projects in the house. And of course start decorating for the holidays.
I love Fall, planting mums, pumpkins galore, pulling out everything rust-color, putting on a sweater and cracking the window for a good night’s sleep. Love your style!
I i love the leaves changing colors and the sweater weather. Beautiful and crispy and of course all the beautiful pumpkins, love orange!
i absolutely love velvet pumpkins. I had ordered several a couple years ago and even gave some as gifts. Unfortunately last year when I went to get my pumpkins from being stored I discovered that some a little mouse had probably gotten in the box and had ripped them up and taken the stuffing. I was so upset! We got rid of that little problem but I haven’t replaced my velvet pumpkins yet. This year I’m looking into starting over with my collection. Thanks for your post. I love seeing all the different styles and it inspired me to try agin but this time they are not going in the attic for seasonal storage.
I love the Fall season too. I love the smell of mulling spices simmering on the stove, apple pie, apple cider, the cool crisp air, and looking forward to Thanksgiving…my favorite family get together since it strictly revolves around family. Love, love, love your beautiful velvet pumpkins. I don’t have any yet….. but I may have to treat myself to some this year!!!
I love all the different colors of the pumpkins together. I don’t have one favorite this about fall. I love it all. The leaves changing, pumpkins, cooler weather and more.
Here in Louisiana we don’t get much of a fall unfortunately. But I do love it anyway. It’s my favorite time of year. I love wearing my “hoodies”, hot chocoholate, and the cool temperatures. Last year was my favorite fall of all. My friend accompanied me to a conference to Cape Cod and we explored there as well as parts of Maine and Martha’s Vineyard. It was magical !!!
Fall is my favorite season. I think its because the weather is not too hot or too cold. The smell of Autumn, apples, pumpkins and being outside is what I enjoy. Its my time to be at home and decorate, get things put away and bake. Plus there are so many holidays to start thinkong about.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this lovely pumpkin giveaway! Fall IS my favorite season also. I love the light filtering through the changing leaves, the colored lights from the county fair and the wonderful smell of pumpkin spice!
I love everything pumpkin! Also, I love the beautiful weather and how cozy the autumn season is! My Aunt has MS and Type 1 Diabetes, and is currently in rehab after falling and breaking her hip and shoulder. She would be so thrilled to have one of these pretty velvet pumpkins to remind her of the lovely season
I love Fall baking, cozy home vibes with the smell of pumpkin spice everywhere and the beautiful changing colored leaves in our hometown. Your velvet pumpkin collection looks stunning!
I don’t know which is cuter: the doggie or the pumpkins!!
I love the cooler weather.. Fall has beautiful colors in nature and it is the doorway to Christmas. The velvet pumpkins are simply stunning.. I am new to your blogging and decor…I love all your ideas ..just signed up looking forward to a real treat.
Being a bird lover in Pennsylvania, Fall is a busy time around here. The humming birds are draining the feeders, getting ready for their big trip. Finch will soon lose their brillant yellow. and lots of Canada geese fill our skies. We also say goodby to white silent flocks of Tundra swans and lots of noisy snow geese.
I love all things Pumpkin!
Autumn comes and thoughts of preparing the home nest for cooler weather reminds us of changes that will come. The colors of the leaves on my giant 100+ year old Oak tree, fall flowers, and of course fall decor. Spicy candles, warm cozy throws, and the comfort foods that we all love. My girlfriends and I will take a day trip to Amish country and stock up with seasonal goodies. Beautiful time of the year! Love those velvet pumpkins (they will look so pretty in my dining room.)
Cindy, as always your house is gorgeous! I have completely fallen in love with the velvet pumpkins and would love to add them to my fall decor!
My mama loved spring ,she said fall made her sad with the leaves dropping. I love fall like my Daddy. It feels like nesting and being nestled in to prepare for winter and the long days ahead . I like that cozy ,settling in feeling . Like God is preparing us to harvest and prepare for winter.P.S. the velvet pumpkins are so beautiful spilling down your steps!
cooler weather, turning leaves, pumpkins, sweaters, football & sitting around a fire pit. can you ask for anything more.
Hey Cindy! I love your collection of fall pumpkins. They are so lovely and add such a dimension to your lovely fall decor. Thank you so much for the give away! Hope all is well with you! 🙂
For years, autumn always meant a new school year, with new friends and new challenges. Autumn also meant new corduroy pants and new wool sweaters. As an adult I now look forward to the beautiful orange, reds and yellows of the leaves on the trees and the smell of smoke from fireplaces. I also love to walk the streets with the large trees, shuffling my feet in the leaves that have fallen and smelling the fragrance of decomposing leaves.
My Birthday is in November, so the Fall issues in all of the holidays I love most. Halloween, my Birthday, our county Fair, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Fall rejuvenates my soul after a long, hot, Deep South, Mississippi summer.

Love the crispness in the air after a sweltering humid summer. The sad thing is we have about two weeks of autumn then it becomes winter. So I make the best of those two weeks. I’m anxiously waiting till that first frost that cools things down.
I love the beautiful colored leaves and Alabama football!!
I love fall’s crisp mornings and cooler days. Autumn decorations with all the wonderful natural decor. Cozy nights that aren’t too cold yet. Anticipation of holidays spent with family!
Love your stairs with all those pumpkins! Love the crispness in the air a crackling fire the delicious smells of baking and harvesting the crops.
Blessings
Hi Cindy,
Fall always makes me nostalgic. I grew up in a small town in Illinois, in the 1960’s. New shoes and clothes for school, playing in the falling leaves, loving the crisp smell of wood smoke, camping, trick or treating half the night with NO PARENTS!! A magical time to grow up, the 60’s. Brownie and Girl Scouts start back up. I live in Alabama now, so fall means something entirely different…FOOTBALL!! Roll Tide, ya’ll..lol
ROLL TIDE, Pamela!
Pamela, your name was drawn as the winner in this giveaway! We have emailed you twice with no response….please check your spam folder!
Fall is a beautiful time of the year! The trees proudly show their loveliest colors and the crisp air invigorates. Nights are cozy, soft throws come out and the aroma of baked goods and candles linger in the air. Velvet pumpkins are my favorite to display! The colors available are so yummy and the wispy stems are amazing!
Love fall and how it is a great time for soup!!
The crisp cool air of fall is my favorite. Your velvet pumpkin collection is amazing!
The velvet pumpkins are absolutely spectacular! For those of us who live in Southern California, home to perpetual summer, Fall is a mere fantasy. We are left to create an illusion to satisfy our dreams of cool days, crunchy autumn leaves under our feet, and all the scents and brilliant colors that are Fall.
The thing I love the most about autumn is the color of the foliage, which is then translated into fabrics and soft furnishings for the house, including those luscious velvet pumpkins. I got just one last year, and am looking forward to collecting more as I find them. Autumn colors are tops with me! However, I am also swooning over the blues in your home, Cindy; you are such a talented decorator and inspiration to many!
I love the crispness of the air, the fragrance and colors of Autumn.
I can’t wait any longer…bringing out some of my Fall decor today (after reading your post). Love this time of year and the opportunity to win some beautiful pumpkins.
My favorite things about Fall are wearing sweaters and scarves, taking walks and enjoying the cool weather and beautiful colors of the leaves, apple season, and pumpkins. Your velvet pumpkin collection is amazing. So pretty. Thanks for all the ideas you share with us and the chance to win such a nice gift.
My fall favorites include long drives through New England admiring the foliage, followed by a nice meal at a local restaurant we find along our route. I also love to spend time along the coast enjoying the quietness of off-season exploring! Happy Fall
My favorite things about fall are the colors of the leaves, scent of fresh rainfall, going to the pumpkin patch, hot apple cider, and pumpkin spice everything 🙂
I love the changing colors. So much richness in the colors.
I love the cooler weather, colors, smells, and taste of the season. I just love it all.
My velvet pumpkins need some more friends:)
Fall has always been my favorite season – I love all the smells that come with this season: wood burning in the fireplace, apples baking, cinnamon, pear and the anticipation of a beautiful holiday season!
Fall is my favorite time of the year also! Even though it is still pretty warm here in Tennessee, I am starting to add some fall items into my new home. These pumpkins would be so lovely in my foyer or living area. Thank you for the opportunity. I love seeing your baby with those pumpkins!!
These are soooo special. I love the multitude of colors as well as the sweet embellishments on some of them. The stems are the icing on the cake. LOVE.
Your velvet pumpkins inspire me. I bought some last year and when I got them out this year after seeing yours I fell in love all over again, thanks. For all your Great ideas
I love how easy it is to decorate for fall! Pumpkins!!!

I LOVE everything about fall! The colors, cooler days, my allergies are less of a nuisance, college football, the crispness of the season. Everything is lovely in the fall. These pumpkins are precious. Thank you for the opportunity!
Living in Hotlanta I love when fall arrives,it is my favorite time of year. I was married in the fall and the 28th will be 50 years. I also have a collection of the velvet pumpkins, not as many as you, I try to get one a year. I would love one with the feathers.
It looks like Miss Ruby was quite interested in the pumpkins.
I love the rich colors!
The colors!
Sigh… your pumpkin collection is swoon-worthy! Sigh, again. 😉 This morning, as I walked out the door to head to my day-job, I was welcomed by the crisp cool air of autumn for the very first time this season! We have had an utterly amazing heat wave here in So Cal, and I was SO pickin’ pleased to finally have the temperature gauge in my car read less than 70 degrees for the first time in years… okay, maybe months, but it sure has felt like years! All that to say, the crisp mornings are my fave part of autumn! Thanks for offering the giveaway!
There are so many things I love about fall. The changing colors of the leaves. The cool crisp air in the evenings. Fresh picked apples. I love all the velvet pumpkins and the way you used them to decorate. You have so many other beautiful decorations as well. You definitely have a new follower now.
Autumn is my favorite season. Love the cooler weather and the beautiful vistas of colorful leaves.
Love this giveaway since I adore velvet pumpkins
I love the colors and the cool, crisp fresh air. It is a time to nest, slow down, turn within and feel more connected to Mother Earth and my own heart. I LOVE…LOVE…LOVE everything about autumn <3
I’m with you, Cindy! Love the fall and everything about it. I have been a Love Feast buyer for a number of years and own a large collection like you – but a girl can never have too many velvet pumpkins, now can she? Best regards, Deborah
All my favorite colors are fall colors. And I love that the lower temperatures signal the end (for this year anyway) of the Texas summer heat!
Fall is my favorite season, too! There’s something absolutely, undeniably ROMANTIC about it! With leaves whisping and whirling about in the wind, boots and scarves emerging, and the cooler air nudging you just a little closer to your love…… some of us look forward to it all year! It’s also nice to see the seasonal trend of darker colors returning in fashion and home decor.
I love wearing sweaters and seeing my breath when I go on my morning walk. I love pumpkin coffee. I love the shorter daytime to spend more time snuggling with my two baby girls and husband in front of our wood stove. I love to be reminded to count my blessings. I love the smell in the air and beautiful colors.
OH CINDY!! WHAT A STUNNING DISPLAY OF VELVET PUMPKINS YOU HAVE CREATED ON YOUR STAIRCASE!!! Fall is my absolute favorite season. It brings in crisp cool air, colorful leaves, beautiful ground cover, cozy sweaters, soups, gumbos, and fires by the fireplace! Oh, and lets not forget naps on the porch swing bed! I seem to have more energy and vitality!
When summer heat is so tiring by the end of summer, pumpkins add hope of a new and cooler season ahead. I keep out pumpkins as long as I can.
I love being able to turn off the air and put on sweaters. Love the coziness of Fall. Thank you
My favorite thing about Fall is football (actually, tailgating more than football)!
I love the cooler weather, being able to stay outside without getting burned, or lathering on sun block, colors of trees and plants, not worrying about snow or ice.
I love the crispness of the air. The bountiful harvest. Spending time with family and friends. The velvet pumpkins are beautiful.
Fall seems like a beginning. Our focus tends to shift from “summer thinking” to “indoor and holiday thinking.” Though I live in a very warm climate, there seems to be a different “vibe.” I look forward to it every year! Thank you for this opportunity to win a fabulous prize!
Hi Cindy, ohhhh wowwww, your staircase looks amazing with all those gorgeous pumpkins…and your sweet fur baby looks sooo adorable, u can tell she just wants to rip into them…lol…she is precious….hummmm Fall means to me warm sweaters, cozy pjs spice pumpkin coffee…but must important I get to celebrate another happy year of marriage with my dear hubster my greatest love….I love your home and decor….TFS….

The colors of the velvet pumpkins are exquisite. Would love these in my home!
What I love most about fall is the crisp air!
In Texas it takes a while to get cooler but when it finally does get cooler & crisp it is GLORIOUS!! Happy Fall Y’all
I love everything about it! Just something about the crisp feeling in the air, tastes and smells of homey cozy things and the fact that it kicks off the holiday season leading up to Christmas which is my fave!! 🙂
I love fall because of the cool crisp air, a signal of the changing seasons along with the different color leaves. It’s refreshing beyond belief; and allows for an opportunity to reset one’s energy to align with Mother Nature. And of course, mentally prepare for the upcoming holidays. It’s also a time to get cozy without feeling lazy. I gotta day, I love the uniqueness of the velvet pumpkins. They are simply gorgeous.
I love Fall for so many reasons, the crisp air, leaves turning, pumpkin candles, the mountains, Fall festivals, Football, boots, and finally getting to wear my hand knit sweaters!!!
Slowing down a bit from the busy summer months and taking the time to reflect and enjoy God’s beautiful fall creation.
Wow! That’s what I’d call “Pumpkin heaven!!”
Beautiful!
Autumn is my favorite season too! Unfortunately we live in Arizona now but I grew up in Ohio…. The beautiful leaves, crispness in the air, pumpkin patches, apple cider, and the list goes on… I try to go back to visit family in the fall, so I can experience just a bit of the joys of autumn!
I think Autumn is nature’s way of telling us there is beauty all around us all the time, but we need reminding, so there are the changing trees, farm stands with pumpkins now instead of tomatoes, the cooler temperatures.
Your home is splendid! I love Fall because it means new beginnings, the promise of cozy nights by the fire.
I love fall because of the perfect weather it bring. Crisp days and evenings, the nice slightly smokey smell and beautiful colors of the leaves. It brings with it my favorite days of All Saints Day and Thanksgiving, and the anticipation of Christmas soon after. Orange is my favorite color so I do love fall leaves and pumpkins!
Wow – those velvet pumpkins are just gorgeous!!!
Cool, crisp mornings, pumpkin spice and gorgeous colors of the season.
Autumn is my favorite time of year! Warm days and cool nights, and oh my, comfort foods, farmers markets, colors and fabrics …. and plaid!! I love the quote from You’ve Got Mail to Shopgirl (Meg Ryan), “Don’t you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly-sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms.” Makes me wish that Tom Hanks had my email ….
Fall makes me feel more connected to the earth somehow. I love that I feel less like I have to run around and do, but more like I can cozy up and stay at home.
I love the changing of the weather being able to sit by the firepit and enjoy friends! The color of the leaves changing colors and using all those different color to decorate my house with, turning off the air and letting the cool breese come in!! Love your pumpkin there so beautiful!
I love the way fall smells, especially when someone is having a bonfire!
I love the cooler weather, the crisp bite in the air on morning walks and planning Fall outings and activities with family.
Fall is my favorite ! Not to hot not to cold. Coco and coffee and football lazy Sundays !
But really it’s dressing my house for fall and then Christmas that just makes me happy happy!
These little (big) pumpkins are addicting. Try and buy two a year. Really need so baby ones this year!
Thanks for the opportunity Cindy!
The changing leaves and all things pumpkin!! cheryl
Fall is an awesome time of year. When I think about Fall I think about , sweaters, festivals and all the beautiful color of fall leaves. I live in SC so the seasons do not change that much. I have to create my own seasons by decorating my home.
I love ALL the velvet pumpkins! They will go with any decor. ONE of my favorite things about Fall/Autumn is all the people coming to our little peice of heaven, the North Georgia Mountains. To see them relishing in the beautiful mountains, the fall colors of the leaves, the sweater weather, the pumpkin farms, the apple orchards (where they can pick their own), and the awesomeness of the locals throwing out the WELCOME mat! Oh and lets forget the many festivals every weekend for almost 3 months. I have a guest room just waiting! Come on up and/or down!
My favorite thing about fall is the change in the weather. I feel more energetic, sleep better, and enjoy the glorious color show nature gives us.
The change! Temps dropping from 100 to 70’s! The trees and the fireplace blazing red, orange and yellow! Food filled with spices and family celebrations: 5 birthdays, our anniversary and Thanksgiving!
Love the crisp air and the warm colors of autumn, I’m lovin’ your gorgeous velvet and adorned pumpkins … yummy!
I LOVE SEEING THE PATCHWORK QUILT PATTERN THE LEAVES DECORATE THE LAWN WITH IN THE FALL. THE RED OF THE MAPLE, THE PURPLE FROM THE PURPLE PLUM, THE SILVERY GRAY-GREEN OF THE RUSSIAN OLIVE, DEEP GOLD OF THE APPLE, BROWN FROM THE PEACH. SO MANY COLORS. I DON’T WANT THE LAWN MOWED UNTIL ALL THE TREES HAVE DROPPED SOME LEAVES ONTO THE QUILT.
Being able to wear a sweatshirt while sitting outside. Something about that just gives me peace!!
Fall means lots of colorful leaves on the hillside.

Goodness, to follow directions! I was married to my husband in October 43 years ago! We picked fall foliage for our wedding vases and boutiques! (my mother-in-law was not happy!) I love the new beginning feeling in the air! Velvet pumpkins are the richest look!
I have always loved fall for jewel bright skies, brilliant leaves and the full harvest moons!

I love everything fall ! The smell of burning leaves or the first fire, the colors of the trees changing, sweater weather, the comfort foods we crave in autumn, fall decor, lower humidity, Halloween and my birthday are all things I long far.
The pumpkins look just beautiful! Love how you displayed them! I love everything about Fall! The clothing, the temps, the decor, pumpkin spice!
Cindy, your velvet pumpkins are beautiful and I have always loved seeing your fall decorating.
Fall is a beautiful season but it has always brought a sadness to my heart.
Hugs, Gloria!
Hi Cindy. What’s not to love about fall. But living in New England, our family tradition is to go on a road trip apple picking and looking at the fall foliage. Thank you for the chance. 🙂
Autumn sings where I live with trees that burst forth in rusty orange, deep scarlet and golden hues. The weather calls for thick cable knitted sweaters, and walking the dog makes my cheeks bloom and my nose red. Apples are crisp, fat pumpkins are heaped in piles at the farmer’s market and cider appears on the grocery shelf. That’s fall where I live.
Fall is my favorite season! After brutal Texas summers, the cooler weather is the best. I also love pumpkins. There are a few from my collection that stay out all year round.
I love the trees as they change their leaves and fall so lovingly to the ground, crisp cool weather and watching my grandson march at halftime at the highschool football games.
I love the crisp cool air and colors of fall. It’s my favorite!!!
Hands down, Fall is my absolute favorite season! I love the warm, rich colors that Autumn brings and the cooler, crisp air. From mid-September through Thanksgiving my home is filled with the smells of apple cider and cinnamon. Available surfaces are draped in colors of Fall ranging from deep orange, harvest gold, chocolate brown and maroon. I scatter pumpkins throughout the house to compliment the warm hues found in my throws and pillows that fill every basket. It all comes together and somehow makes my house feel so cozy. I look forward to it every year!!

I love autumn when the air turns crisp and cool. Loving your collection of velvet pumpkins, too!
I love fall because change of the season. The many shades of yellow, orange, and red leaves. The crisp air which makes you want to cuddle up in a fuzzy sweater and boots. The smells tickling your nose tempting you to indulge in all the fall favorites foods and drinks. Fall is the final dress rehearsal before we see all the greys of winter.
Velvet pumpkins always make me happy !
I love every thing you do. It is so beautiful!
Living on the East Coast I’m privy to some of the best fall foliage. I love turning the air off and opening all the windows in my house! I also can’t wait for pumpkin spice lattes 🙂
I am a Florida girl so I like the cooler weather plus truth be known, I am a passionate pumpkin spice girl. (There should have been one in the band)
I love everything pumpkin!! Yours are awesome. I love the way that they spill down the staircase. I also love the way that you put them in front of the beautiful french mirror.
So beautiful!! I’d love to use some of the blue shades!

You have an impressive collection of those gorgeous pumpkins. Living in Texas, fall is a bit of a mixed bag. While colorful foliage is not a big thing for us, I do love finally getting a break from the summer heat.
I love the coolness that comes with fall after the heat of summer. And the colors of the leaves as they change their wardrobes from summer lightness to fall richness
Love going to the pumpkin patch for pumpkin shopping

What I love most is the colour! The leaves on our maple trees are a feast for the eyes, and I can where a cozy sweater while enjoying the golden autumn sun. For us, Thanksgiving comes early, so I can almost taste the cranberry sauce when I see those lovely fall colours.
FALL LOVE…crisp air, sweaters, blowing leaves, first fire in the fireplace. AND…those glorious pumpkins which would look fantastic in my shop full of painted vintage furniture!
I love the fall because the temperatures are cooler and there is something about fall that I just can’t describe. I live in Missouri and the summer months can be brutal.
I love fall and all it brings! My favorite thing is the trees in all their glorious colors and just the coziness of the season. The velvet pumpkins are a beautiful favorite and I have collected a few. Your collection, however, is just gorgeous! Thank you for the giveaway and the shopping discount!
What a beautiful sight!!! All those gorgeous velvet pumpkins on the stairway…. be still my heart!
Fall is one of my most favorite seasons! I grew up in NH where the crisp nights & cool mornings set the stage for amazing multicolored foliage and a harvest of crisp, juicy, sweet apples! Here in Central PA, the transition to Fall is a bit more gradual and the foliage not quite as brilliant, but I’ve grown to enjoy it just the same. Those first crisp mornings, gathering the perfect pumpkins & mums for the steps and walkway, the warmer afternoons…. are all things I start dreaming about during those last hot steamy summer days! The fact that my birthday is in early October is a plus, too!
I enjoyed your beautiful post, Cindy!
Love, love, love the velvet pumpkins ! So elegant !
What I love most about the fall.is the weather! I love waking up to cool, crisp mornings and going to bed the same way!
Fall is my Favorite Season – the cooler temperature , the Vibrant colors , the smells , watching the animals gather their food ( especially the squirrels ) , the shorter days , my cooking and baking . Everything Fall ! I live just outside of Charleston,S.C. , so our weather for most of the year is hot and humid . We’re lucky if we have two weeks of cold , because of my health I thrive in the cold ,,, so living here makes me sad . Soo for the short weeks of fall temps I ABSOLUTELY come alive . I don’t like velvet but your pumpkins are GORGEOUS ! , going to make some . Have a blessed day .
I look forward to the cooler weather, the lovely colors of autumn. I love to decorate with pumpkins. And changing out my clothes so I can wear cute tops and jeans.
Cindy, I love almost everything about Fall, but especially when the dry, cool winds rustle leaves and you get the sound along with the scent of drying leaves. I love walks in the woods at this time especially since the colors and scenery is so beautiful.
Your velvet pumpkins reflect these colors, as well! Thanks for this lovely post and giveaway!
Beautiful pumpkins! What I love about fall is cooler temps and football! Oh, and a little slower pace.
I LOVE Autumn and Fall because it’s the end of our hot and humid Mississippi weather. The foliage changes to a beautiful hue and the cool breeze starts to flow. It’s my chance to change my decorating to fall decor. Did I mention that it’s my favorite time of year? That I LOVE PUMPKINS I’ve always wanted some of the velvet pumpkins in the pastel colors. I desperately need some for my mantel. I just bought these little white ones at the grocery store but the Velvet Pumpkins would be a show stopper look. Thank you for the Giveaway. ibgardning@yahoo.com

Thanks for the beautiful pictures! Autumn is my absolute favorite season. The leaves on trees put up a glorious display of color, and as a professional artist whose whole day is spent focusing on color, the entire outdoors becomes a source of delight.
There are so many things to love about Autumn, especially here in New England, but my favorite by far are the beautiful colors the leaves turn. It wouldn’t be Fall without the colorful display!
Love these little velvet pumpkins! So adorable. I have made a few with my daughters’ satin baby blankets and use them to decorate their room now that they are older. I hadn’t ever seen them until you posted them several years ago on your blog. Your stairwell looks so pretty. Like little jewels falling down the stairs. Love the swan pumpkin!
These velvet pumpkins are absolutely beautiful!!! They are a elegant addition to Fall decor.
What I love about autumn….the scent of chrysanthemums
I love the colors of the leaves and how they crunch under your feet.
